What is MyDocReady?

MyDocReady brings together a small set of browser-based tools for the tasks that commonly happen just before a file is uploaded: resizing an image, reducing file size, making a careful photo crop, improving a document image, and combining images into a PDF.

Why we built it

Online forms often have technical file rules that are easy to miss. A photo can be clear but too large, a document can be complete but badly lit, or several pages may need to be delivered in one file. The goal is to make these preparation steps easier to understand and complete.

Who it is for

MyDocReady is for people preparing their own photos and documents for an online form, portal, or application. It is designed for simple, practical file work and does not replace the instructions supplied by the organization receiving those files.

Our approach to privacy

The current tools process selected images in the browser. They do not send uploaded files to a MyDocReady server. This does not replace normal care with sensitive documents: use a trusted device and review our Privacy page for the current implementation details.

Our guides address the limits and decisions behind the tools. We avoid treating one organization’s rules as universal, and we encourage readers to use the current instructions from the organization receiving their application as the final reference.

How we improve the tools

We aim to improve clarity, accessibility, browser compatibility, and error handling based on real preparation tasks. Tool behavior and privacy information are updated when the implementation changes.
